The new “Dancing with the Stars” champion, put your hands together America, J.R. Martinez crowned “Dancing with the Stars Season 13”, last night November 22, 2011.

J.R. Martinez and his dancing partner, a first-time mirror ball champ and professional dancer Karina Smirnoff, are “Dancing with the Stars” Season 13 newest ballroom champion.

"First and foremost, I want to thank everybody who voted for us for 10 weeks. Thank you America for believing in us," Martinez said.

He then credited Smirnoff, his partner. "You are amazing, and I'm so grateful that I was able to be part of your first mirror ball trophy," he said as she gave him a kiss on the cheek.

“Dancing with the Stars” runner up Rob Kardashian and Cheryl Burke also did a great performance, while Derek Hough and Ricki Lake were amazingly eliminated last Tuesday night in the first round.

Dancing with the Stars Season 13, is a US hit TV series in which celebrities perform choreographed dance routines. Hosted by Tom Bergeron (America’s Funniest Home Videos) and Brooke Burke (Dancing with the Stars Season Seven Champion).
