How to get back to old Facebook Chat

Recently, many Facebook users applied the new Facebook Chat Sidebar, but suddenly it’s quite annoying for some users including me. It took me little time on searching how to get back

to old Facebook Chat. Some people say there is no option to switch back to the old Facebook Chat, until I found a simple solution to it. For the meantime, this will only applicable for Google Chrome browser only.

Just follow these very simple steps on how to get back to old Facebook Chat. After doing this, the new Facebook Chat Sidebar will be restored to old Facebook Chat.

Again for Google Chrome browser only.

Step 1. Visit the Google Chrome website. www.google.com/chrome

Step 2. Find the link for Chrome Extensions (Lower left-side of the page).

Step 3. Search for “FB Chat Side Bar disabler”.

Step 4. Click and Install. Restart your Google Chrome browser.

Step 5. Visit your Facebook account and see if the old Facebook Chat is restored.
