As stated on the report of ABS-CBS, Justice Secretary Leila de Lima confirmed on Monday, Taguig MTC Branch 74 has issued arrest warrants for Deniece Cornejo, Cedric Lee and five others involved in the mauling of “Da Possessed” actor Vhong Navarro.

Judge Bernard Bernal issued the warrants of arrest last Friday, April 11 and copies of the arrest warrants have been sent to the stakeholders in the case, according to Prosecutor General Claro Arellano.

MTC of Taguig City has issued warrants of arrest against Deniece Cornejo, Cedric Lee, Bernice Lee, Ferdinand Guerrero, Simeon Raz, Jose Paolo Calma, and Jed Fernandez are all facing grave coercion cases.

In the statement of Department of Justice, the grave coercion case is bailable while the primary element of the crime of serious illegal detention, which is a non-bailable offense.
