According to the authority, with this new system the application for NBI clearance will be easier and progressively eliminate queues. It will also simplify the process and improve efficiency from the agency as well as the applicants.

Below is a simple step on how to apply NBI Clearance Online:

1. Visit NBI Clearance online portal/official website, www.doj.gov.ph/nbi or www.nbi.gov.ph
 
2. Fill-in and complete the online application form. Mandatory information needed are divided into Clearance Registration, Applicant Information, Contact Details, Family Background and Other Information.

3. Next, applicants may visit any of the 55 sites nationwide for payment and biometric enrollment for the release of the clearance.
