PHILVOCS: Magnitude 5.4 Earthquake Hit Mindoro and Nearby Area

A 5.4 magnitude earthquake was felt in Metro Manila area and nearby provinces Monday evening around 9:50pm, October 19, 2015. The quake epicenter 13.83°N, 120.39°E - 019 km N 51° E of Looc, Occidental Mindoro.

PHILVOCS, 5.4 magnitude earthquake hits Mindoro

As stated by the PHILVOCS the quake was tectonic in origin and had a 101 kilometers depth and expected to have aftershocks according to the bulletin issued.

The said 5.4 magnitude quake expected to have no damage.

Intensity IV- Tagaytay City; Puerto Gallera, Oriental Mindoro; Mandaluyong City; Makati City, Pasay City
Intensity III- Clark, Pampanga; General Trias, Cavite, Malolos, Bulacan; Bacoor, Cavite; Obando, Bulacan
Intensity II- Pateros
