Megan Young of Philippines was crowned Miss World 2013, the 23 year-old Filipina was the first ever crown Miss World from Philippines. The Miss World 2013 beauty pageant was held last Saturday, September 28 at at Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center in Bali, Indonesia.


Megan Lynne Young is a Filipino American actress, member of ABS-CBN's Star Magic talent. Megan won the title Miss World Philippines 2013 on August 18, 2013 at Solaire Resort & Casino, Parañaque City, Philippines with a live telecast via GMA Network.

The Miss World 2013 Final coronation night will broadcast live from Bali, Indonesia.

Miss World 2013 Miss Philippines, Megan Young currently studying Digital Film making and she dreams of moving behind the camera in the future, taking the role of director after finishing his degree. She likes and enjoy playing video games, she says she has and always will be a Harry Potter fan, and that she is “guided by my heart… I think and speak from it.”

Meanwhile, Miss France Marine Lorphelin First Runner-up and Miss Ghana Carranzar Naa Okailey Shooter is Third Runner-up.
