After 16 years at large, FBI Ten Most Wanted who inspired the Oscar-winning 2006 film The Departed, James "Whitey" Bulger, was arrested in California on Wednesday.

According to several news sites Bulger and his girlfriend Catherine Greig was arrested without incident at the Santa Monica apartment building. At the time of Bulger arrest different firearms and hundreds of thousands of dollars are found inside the apartment.
The FBI said Bulger was known as the leader of the Winter Hill Gang, the well-known organized crime group that ran drug deals, gambling, and other illegal activities in early 1970s through the mid-1980s.
Different reactions of Bulger neighbors that all these years they had no idea they were living to a man who was on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted.
