Recently a forum held last October 2013 in University of the Philippines’ School of Economics, the TEDxDiliman forum theme, “Things That Matter”. Joey Ayala is one the guest artist speaker for indigenous music, Ayala known as singer and songwriter; also famous in using ethnic instruments with modern pop music.
Joey Ayala shared a very inspiring talk and performance about the “Lupang Hinirang” the Philippine National Anthem. He talk about how could “possibly” be the “correct way” of singing “Lupang Hinirang”.
As a Filipino you will be inspired and somehow think/sing the Joey Ayala’s rendition of Lupang HInirang. The proper pronunciation of some stanzas and a blend of positive melody with a positive vibe at the end of the National Anthem, “…..ang magmahal ng dahil sa’yo.”
Watch the video below of Joey Ayala’s rendition of Lupang Hinirang. (Joey Ayala’s Lyrics of Lupang Hinirang)
