According to several news sites and AP, in the new venue of Army-Navy produced a familiar result Saturday as the Midshipmen rushed for 296 yards and capitalized on three Army turnovers in a 27-21 win over the Black Knights.


This was the first Army-Navy game to be played in the vicinity of the nation’s capital, the Mids (5-7) got a pair of touchdown runs from quarterback Kriss Proctor and one from fullback Alexander Teich to win their 10th straight in the enduring rivalries in the college football.


With US President Barack Obama presiding over the Army-Navy game and tossed the coin at the start of the game. President Obama also visited wounded soldiers and their families, shaking hands, getting a hug from Navy mascot, and walked through a ceremonial cadet gantlet at halftime, switching sides in the traditional symbol of commander in chief neutrality.


Meanwhile, the top performer of the games M. Brown, RB for Army recorded 11 Rush, 82 yrs, 1 TD, 1 Rec, 25 yrs, 1 TD and for the Navy K. Proctor, QB make 1-3, 13 yrs, 32 Rush, 97 yds, 2 TDs.
