Father of International Singing Sensation stabbed dead

The father of international singing sensation Charice Pempengco was stabbed dead. Ricky Pempengco was killed in Laguna province Monday Night.

According to several local news sites, Charice father, Ricky Pempengco was in a drinking session and then left to buy something from a store. The suspect Angel Capili Jr., approached him and stabbed him at least twice with a lengthy ice pick. The ice pick speared through Pempengco’s chest, causing him dead.


Capili quickly left the scene and now being tracked down by the police. Police are investigating the old grudge as a possible motive for killing since Pempengco and Capili quarreled a few years ago.


Currently, Charice Pempengco is out of the country for international tour with David Foster and other international singers.
