The Miss Earth 2013 questions and answers portion. The coronation night of the new queen for the Earth warrior was held on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at the Versailles Mansion in Muntinlupa City, Philippines.

Miss Venezuela Alyz Henrich was crowned the title winner, the 22 years old eco-beauty believes, "Taking care of our water is taking care of ourselves, water is life. Let’s keep it clean."

Question: How does Eco-Tourism contribute to the protection of the environment?

Miss Venezuela,
Alyz Henrich: Because we people are responsible also for destruction our nature. We need to be aware and take care of mother earth.

Question: Aside from Climate Change, what is the biggest threat to mother Earth?

Miss Thailand, Punika Kulsoontornrut: It is human behavior. What ever human behavior influences the environment. It is going to affect the environment around the world. It is going to affect the whole world.

Question: "What do you think is the best invention that has made our world a better place to live in?"

Miss Austria, Katia Wagner: I have to say there are many great inventions. For me it's solar energy. We should all stick to solar energy.

Question: So many diff forms of discrimination today. What do you think is the worst one?

Miss Korea, Catharina Choi: I don't think there is a worse. Any kind of discrimination is bad.

Question: What is the biggest risk you've taken in your life?

Miss Mexico, Kristal Silva: One of the most risky things I've done is joining this pageant. This is a contest that is for a cause. It is one way of letting people know about environmental care.

Question: In your opinion, why does God allow natural disasters to happen?

Miss Poland, Aleksandra Szczesna: Because I think God wants to show bad people how to love. Our God love everyone and I think in our world should be wrong side and good side.

Question: It's been a month since Haiyan hit the Philippines, how do you think mother Earth feels now?

Miss Philippines, Angelee delos Reyes: It feels like Mother Earth is really sad. I think typhoon Yolanda happened as a wake up call for us to realize that we must take care of one another and we must take care of one another for the generations to come.

Question: Define the beauty of an earth warrior.

Miss Serbia, Andjelka Tomasevic: Beauty is what we have inside. If we take care of people, country, neighbour, that is real beauty. So girls and woman if you have beauty outside and not inside that is not real. We must share love and happiness with everyone.
